WAUSAU (WAOW) -
The Make Maddie Mobile Fund is on a roll.
Family and friends set up the fund earlier this year to raise money to buy a handicapped accessible van to transport Maddie, a four-year old Wausau girl who has multiple disabilities.
They raised thousands of dollars and the van arrived about a month ago.
Maddie's mom says it's been great.
"It is so easy to roll her up the ramp and then anchor her in. We couldn't have done it without all the support from people both physical and monetary to see this happen," said Maddie's mother, Stephanie Tlusty.
With additional money left over after the van purchase and a grant from the Children's Miracle Network, the Tlusty's also bought a special bed for Maddie.
The Make A Wish Foundation also built the family a deck with a ramp and a wheelchair accessible swing for Maddie.
