Packers nation reacts to Rodgers injury

The streets of Titletown are a little quieter, except for some unpleasant sounds.

"Oh gosh," sighed one fan.

"Come on Aaron, we need you," pleaded another.

On Tuesday, Green Bay Packers fans had to deal with a lot. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers fractured his collarbone on the first drive of the game against the Chicago Bears. There's no timeline for when he'll be back.

"Having two losses, the possible loss of Rodgers and the loss to the Bears, it's kind of pouring a little salt in the wound," said Traci Bryfcznski, store manager of The Jersey Store in Ashwaubenon.

When Aaron Rodgers went down, so did the spirits of fans across the world.

"I wasn't very happy the rest of the game," said green and gold fan Mark Procter.

But it's okay, because fans say that's why there are back up quarterbacks. Except in this case, fans say they weren't quite sure who that was.

"I didn't even know who the back up quarterback was," said Gerard Candrian. "We found out the hard way last night thought."

The talk around Titletown Tuesday was clearly focused on Aaron Rodgers, his injury, and when he'll be back. But another name is also being thrown around. Fans say maybe it's time for someone else to come back, perhaps to heal some old wounds.

"Bring back number four," shouted one fan.

"Who knows, maybe they'll bring back Farve," added Procter.

But one fan wasn't sold on the idea.

"Oh he can't do that, no offense Brett, but no, not in game shape," joked Lori Primich of Berlin, CT.

But no matter which side of the fence they fall, fans say they're not ready to hand off the ball.

"He'll be back, that's all I can say," said Penny Enders. "There's only one Aaron Rodgers."

"Packers fans will always support all the players no matter if they're hurt or not hurt, good or bad," added Bryfczynski,

Supporting the players, even if they don't know you're name just yet.

"Win or lose, Go Pack Go!"
