Anonymous donor pays $17k; funds Treyden's Cabin

Treyden's Cabin, the Marshfield Clinic tribute to a Stratford boy who lost his battle with cancer, has reached its goal of $50,000.

An anonymous donor said he saw the story on Facebook and decided to donate the remaining $17,200 needed to make this dream a reality.

The staff members broke the news to the doctors and nurses who worked closely with Treyden and his family.

Treyden's Cabin will be decorated in a log cabin theme. It will feature toys and electronic gadgets all designed to make it easier for kids with cancer dealing with the treatments that they need.

The 80's rock star Brett Michaels will play a benefit show for Treyden in December, said Cassie Kurtzweil, Treyden's mother.
