Tonight at 10: Medford woman eyes Olympics

A Medford woman has the Olympics on her mind this week.

Jackie Lemke, 28, is competing in Fargo, North Dakota at the U.S. Olympic trials for curling.

She is on one of four teams trying to get one step closer to next year's Winter Olympics. Lemke and her team qualified more than a year and a half ago, as the runners-up in last year's National Championships.

Lemke says she's just anxious to compete.

"When you think about what could happen after the Olympic trials, we'll be traveling internationally, we'll be going to Switzerland, we'll be going to Scotland, leading up to Russia. And that's a month long commitment so part of it is just the anticipation and then you know what's my life going to be like because it's either going to go back to normal or it's going to be one of the most amazing experiences I'll ever have," said Lemke

Tonight at ten, hear about her journey to the Olympic trials and the sacrifices she's made.
