Wisconsin man, son charged in sex trafficking case

A federal grand jury has charged a Wisconsin man and his son with prostituting multiple women and underage girls.

An indictment unsealed Thursday charges 45-year-old David Moore and 22-year-old Najee Moore with conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking, sex trafficking of a minor and other crimes.

The U.S. Department of Justice says in a statement the indictment replaces an earlier one naming Najee Moore alone. The department says David Moore encouraged his son to engage in sex trafficking.

Federal public defender Daniel Stiller says David Moore has pleaded not guilty and they are looking forward to moving the case along.

Najee Moore's attorney Thomas Wilmouth declined to comment. Najee Moore pleaded not guilty to the earlier charges and is scheduled to return to court Monday on the new charges.
