Evening snow causes some travel troubles

Light snowfall in north central Wisconsin Wednesday evening caused some problems on the roads.

Clark County dispatchers reported four slide-offs on Highway 29 as of 10:45 p.m.

Other slide-offs were reported in Lincoln County, Portage County, and Vilas County.

Other counties such as Adams, Forest, Langlade, Oneida, Price, Taylor, and Wood reported no problems despite slippery and snow-covered roads in some places.

A Wausau police lieutenant told Newsline 9 the evening was fairly quiet except for a "parking lot incident" caused by the weather.
