Winter weather system moving across the state

EDGAR (WAOW) -

A winter weather system is moving across north central Wisconsin this week. The system is expected to bring snow on and off for a few days.

The snow that fell around Edgar Monday evening left roads wet but they quickly turned snow covered.

As of 9 p.m. Monday night, Marathon County Sheriff's Department officials and Wood County dispatch said they had not received any reports of weather related traffic incidents.

The snow is expected to mix with drizzle for the Tuesday morning commute.
