MOSINEE (WAOW) -- Everyone on board is safe after a Mosinee School District bus was involved in a crash Wednesday morning.

The Marathon County Sheriff's deputy says a car was traveling on County Highway O when it lost control and struck the bus.

WAOW apologizes for erroneously reporting the cause of crash earlier.

Sheriff's officials tell us 40 students were on board the bus.

"There were no injuries to the students on the bus or to either driver," said Burnett Transit President Joe Burnett in a news release.
Investigators say the bus was on its way to pick up a student.

Burnett says damage to the bus was minimal.

Another bus came to pick up the students and took them to school.
