Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy has announced that Aaron Rodgers will not play in Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
This is the 5th week the star quarterback has not started for the green and gold. Rodgers broke his collarbone during the November 4th game against the Chicago Bears.
Rodgers was seen taking reps in practice this past week, and coach McCarthy hadn't officially ruled him out until today.
According to the Associated Press, the Green Bay Packers say they're refreshed and energized after a mini-break during the Thanksgiving Day weekend. They're looking to get over that 40-10 loss to the Detroit Lions.
