Job seekers attend Wausau job fair

The national unemployment rate is the lowest it has been since November 2008, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
Some job seekers took advantage of that by attending the Wausau Jobs Fair held at the University of Wisconsin Marathon County.
Congressman Sean Duffy (R) hosted the event in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. An estimated 500 people attended, having the opportunity to meet and greet about 90 local businesses.
Sean Zyduck said the fair made him hopeful for future career opportunities.
"I love job fairs," said Zyduck. "I try to come to them. I'm always looking for a new career. I've been in the IT business on my own for 20 years and I was actually looking at a company here collaborative."
The fair also held several break-out sessions to discuss specific job topics.
