Anti-drug program announces website

WAUSAU (WAOW) - Advocates for people struggling with drug abuse are launching a new website to help them.

The Marathon County Alcohol and Other Drug Partnership Council will be launching a new website in January, which will provide more information to the community about drug and alcohol problems.

The AOD held its final Pushback Drugs meeting of the year. Presenters shared tips and resources that people could use to help those struggling with underage drug abuse. The program began this past spring to provide more information to the community about drug and alcohol problems.

"We always want to say it's someone else's problem, but in reality it's everyone's problem," said Steven Korzinek, a Peaceful Solutions Counseling case worker. "The awareness that the AOD partnership brings to the issue is things that people may not hear of otherwise. "
