VILAS COUNTY (WAOW) - The cause of death for a Vilas County woman missing for more than a year has been ruled as 'undetermined', according to the county coroner.

The remains of Sandra Schinke were found in September in a wooded area east of Sayner, about a mile from where she lived.

The Vilas County coroner tells Newsline 9 there's nothing to lead them to believe Schinke died of anything but natural causes. He says her exact cause of death could not be determined.

Schinke vanished in April 2012 apparently while on a walk while her husband was working, authorities said.

The Vilas County Sheriff says no foul play is suspected in her death.
