Newman Catholic students give holiday presentations

Posted:
WAUSAU (WAOW) - Students at Newman Catholic Middle School in Wausau are learning about holiday traditions from different Spanish-speaking countries. Seventh and eighth graders presented their research and conducted class demonstrations on Friday.

"I think it's good because you learn so much, but it's also a good experience because it helps you learn to present in front of people," said Krasowski.

Newman Catholic Spanish teacher Amy Bergmann says she enjoyed the students' final projects.

"I'm seeing a lot of maturity and a lot of leadership and it's interesting to see which students step up and are ready to make their presentations," said Bergmann.

The holiday presentations have become a tradition at Newman Catholic since 2002.
