Holiday travelers hit snowy roads

Santa may have finished his journey across the globe, but many holiday travelers were on the roads in Marathon County on Christmas Day.

The light snowfall throughout the day kept the roads slick and the plows busy. Drivers were cautious and traveled at a slow pace.

One traveler still had a long way to go before he reached his destination.

"I was kinda slipping and sliding all the way here and I'm hoping I-39 will be a little clearer," said Jon Brzezinski. "Today I'm driving eight more hours to Iowa to see my mom."

Weather conditions are expected to clear overnight Wednesday.
