Cobb: Playoff approach similar to week one

GREEN BAY (WAOW) - Wednesday was the first time Newsline 9 got to talk with the Packers since that thriller in Chicago. Now the focus is on the 49ers.

Mike McCarthy saying that the playoffs are a second season.

The Packers are trying to make sure this new year doesn't start the same way the 2013 season did, with a loss to the 49ers on the road.

Randall Cobb had seven receptions, including a touchdown and put 108 yards to his name. The Packers had a fourth quarter lead before losing to San Francisco, 34-28.

While Cobb and the rest of the Green and Gold want a different ending, the approach to the wild card game will be similar to how they went into week one.

"Well I think that we're going to approach it in the same way. We know them pretty well. They know us pretty well. We know what they're going to try and do to us. We just have to execute the plays as called. Go out there and pretty much just play with that aggressive nature and pretty much attack them," said Packers Wide Receiver Randall Cobb.

Remember, Cobb was part of the reason that Packers are playing in January.
