Wausau fans find best seat in the house, the couch

Those green and gold fans who didn't go to Lambeau Field found other ways to cheer on their team. We caught up with some in Wausau who say they had the best seat in the house, their couch.

As you walk into this house in Wausau you can hear the cheers and chants from outside.

"Yeah, go, go, go, aww," yelled Packers fans as they watched Aaron Rodgers take Lambeau Field for the first time since breaking his collarbone.

It was a game of highs and lows but from the young to the young at heart, these fans stuck with the pack until the end.

"The Packers lost so it's really devastating but I hope they sure up on defense and we'll go again next year," said green and gold fan Nick Vigut of Lake DuBay.

But Vigut, along with the more than one dozen fans agree it's not just about the game, the made plays or the dropped passes. They it's about family and friends and the time spent together.

"Coming here with this family and friends, there's nothing like it," said Vigut. "And yeah, the free food."

While this couch was a far cry from the frozen tundra, they didn't mind.

"I think it would be too cold for me," said Eli Moe. "The people who went to the game are probably so mad they froze their butts off and then they lost."

While it wasn't the outcome they were hoping for. These fans say win or lose they'll always cheer on the green and gold.
