Movie theater draws big crowd during arctic blast

Even though it's bitter cold outside, people are still finding ways to have fun.

With school canceled many children and their parents headed to the movies and managers say it's because of two reasons.

They say the frigid temperatures brought in more people than usual, but also all movie tickets are $5 on Tuesdays, making it a perfect combination.

The theater's manager says the movie "Frozen" is a hit mostly because so many children are there.

One mom says taking her girls to the movies is a great way to have some fun and stay out of the cold.

"We decided that since the kids had off of school and they wanted to see the movie I took off of work a little bit early and decided to come here for the afternoon," said Amie Peissig of Kronenwetter.

The theater also saw big crowds Monday. Even handing out free hot chocolate to guests on that extra cold day.
