Packers review post season ticket policy

Posted: Updated:
The Green Bay Packers are reviewing the team's post-season ticket sales policy.

The Packers had trouble selling out the home wild card game against the San Francisco 49ers before sponsors stepped in and bought the remaining tickets, ensuring the game would not be blacked out in most Wisconsin TV markets.

The Packers offered post-season tickets to season ticket holders around Thanksgiving when the team was struggling without quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The policy required the purchase of two possible home playoff games with any games that are not played credited to next year's season ticket purchase.

Packers President Mark Murphy says the team will survey fans to determine how to better handle the situation next time.
