MARSHFIELD (WAOW) -

Marshfield police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a person in a wheelchair.

According to Police Sgt. Dennis Keffer, the crash happened near the intersection of N. Peach Avenue and Waushara Drive at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Keffer said a white sedan hit a person in a wheelchair. The car left the scene, Keffer said.

A Wood County dispatcher told Newsline 9 the person hit had minor injuries.

The car's license plate may have included the letters "G" and "E" in it, Keffer said. He said it's unclear if the car was damaged.

If you have any information about what happened, call the Marshfield Police Department at 715-387-4394.
