Bitter cold temperatures have returned to our area.
Meteorologists say they are likely to remain here for the next week.
For some people, the second below-zero blast of air this winter is too much.
"I miss summer, it can't get here soon enough," said Amanda Wenzel of Wausau.
A central Wisconsin travel agent, Barb Jennison, says January is typically her agency's busiest month of the year as people plan their vacations.
The cold snap has her phones ringing off the hook.
"It is non-stop. I can't keep up with it and people say they just want to get out of the cold," said Jennison.
Not surprisingly, warm weather destinations are popular.
