It's easy to let the winter blues get you down if you don't have any outdoor hobbies. But there's an activity that is as simple as stepping outside.
This year, Nine Mile Forest added a new eight kilometer snowshoe trail.
"It makes for a long winter. Go outside and do something. That's why Wisconsin has winter, you might as well enjoy it," Nordic Ski Club president John Beatty said.
Kimberly Kuphal is an avid Nordic skier and brings her dogs and kids out snowshoeing on a regular basis.
"We just love being outside and the fresh air and the breeze on your cheeks," Kuphal said.
