Woodson Art Museum in Wausau gets magical

WAUSAU (WAOW) - The Woodson Art Museum in Wausau is getting magical.

Two new exhibits opened for a private showing Thursday.

They're called "From Houdini to Hugo" and "Mystery, Magic and Mayhem."

Organizers say more than a hundred illustrations are featured in the Houdini to Hugo exhibit from black and white portraits to full color.

"We have a lot of programming to bring these exhibitions to life so typically we have an artist in residence for every exhibition in this case we'll have a magician in residence and couple of weekends of some family magic days, lots of programming that sort of bring that element of magic to life," said Communications Coordinator Amy Beck.

The exhibit opens to the public this Saturday. It runs until April 6th.
