State Patrol officer pinned between cars

WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WAOW) -- A crash in Winnebago County Sunday afternoon seriously injures a state patrol officer.

It happened on the Highway 41 southbound off-ramp to County Road Double I near Menasha at 11:57 a.m. Sunday.

Officials say the trooper was investigating a crash when another car lost control and pinned him to his squad car. He was taken to a hospital.

Assisting agencies included Winnebago County Sheriff, Gold Cross Ambulance, and Town of Menasha Police Department.
