Wis. GOP AG candidate has raised $176K

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- -

Wisconsin attorney general hopeful Brad Schimel's campaign says he raised nearly $177,000 over the last half of 2013.
   Schimel's campaign said Friday he raised $176,953 and had $172,000 on hand. Schimel, the Waukesha County district attorney, is the only Republican in the race.
   Candidates have until Friday to report fundraising and spending over the last six months of the year.
   Three candidates are vying for the Democratic nomination. State Rep. Jon Richards' campaign has said he had $92,000 on hand. Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne hasn't released his numbers.
   Jefferson County District Attorney Susan Happ hasn't reported any campaign finance activity since 2011. She didn't form her attorney general campaign committee until this month. She doesn't have to report any spending or fundraising in the race until July.
