Sculptors turn snow into art in Wausau

WAUSAU (WAOW) - Snow sculptors are working their magic in Wausau.

Those artists are turning a massive chunk of snow into a rabbit coming out of a hat. Team USA Snow Sculptors went to work Friday at the Woodson Art Museum. This is the team's 24th year at the museum. The detailed sculpture is for another magical display at the museum.

"It's to promote the Mystery, Magic and Mayhem show here at the museum," said Mike Martino, a member of the Team USA Snow Sculptors. "There are a lot of old posters of the magic shows and Harry Houdini and that sort of thing. There's even a flea circus."

If you want to see these professionals in action, they'll be working Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
