ONEIDA COUNTY (WAOW) -- The remains of one person have been found inside a home after a fire, according to the Oneida County Sheriff's Department.
"A forensic autopsy is currently being scheduled and identification will be forthcoming," according to a news release from the department.
Officials the fire happened at 3892 Woodland Trail in the town of Cassian around 1:00 a.m. Monday. They say when crews arrived, the entire house was on fire.
Investigators say three other people made it out of the home. They say one of the people who made it out was flown to a Madison hospital because of injuries. Officials say all four people inside the home were adults.
Sheriff's officials say another person was treated for injuries at a local hospital and later released. They say the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
