Police: Man exposed himself near downtown

WAUSAU (WAOW) – Wausau police say a 23-year-old man was arrested after officers responded to a report of a man exposing himself near downtown Wausau as three girls walked by.

The incident happened about 8:30 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of West Washington Street, police said.

The girls, ages 14, 12 and 11, called police when they saw the man behaving strangely near Wausau Health Services, Lt. Mark Pankow said.

Eric Rowe-Nitzsche was charged Tuesday with two misdemeanors - lewd and lascivious behavior involving exposure and and disorderly conduct - and a judge set a $1,000 signature bond, according to online Marathon County Circuit Court records.
A judge scheduled a pretrial conference for March 6.
