Classic toy attracts several children to area library

MARATHON COUNTY (WAOW) - A lego club was held for the first time at the Marathon County Public Library in Marathon City.

Organizers say about 15 children came out to play.

The event lasted an hour.

Organizers say this is a great way to get some creative juices flowing.

"Lego's are just universally popular for all ages and kids really like to be creative and see what they can come up with," said Lisa Haessly, Marathon City Branch Coordinator.

"Because you basically get to do whatever you want and there's no rules there's no boundaries, Mikayla Baumann of Marathon City.

Organizers say they plan to hold lego club every month.
