Communities notified to run water

Posted:
Communities in central Wisconsin have asked residents to run their water because of a fear for frozen pipes.

Newsline 9 has been notified of the following communities that have made that request:

-Rothschild

-Abbotsford

-Mosinee

-Phillips

-Prentice

-Rhinelander

-Weston (all Weston Municipal Utilities customers)

-Antigo (only residents that have been notified)

-Wausau (only residents that have been notified)

-Amherst

-Schofield

-Merrill

-Kronenwetter (residents that live west of I-39)

-Rib Lake

-Dorchester

Public works leaders in those communities are asking people to run their water the width of a pencil, until they are given notice that they can stop.
