Tea time & Valentines in Wausau

WAUSAU (WAOW) - A tea time tradition at the Woodson History Center attracted almost 100 people Thursday.

The 15th annual Victorian Valentine Tea provided sweet treats, fresh flowers and fine tea for attendees. Organizers say the event is a Valentine's Day favorite while giving a boost to the historical society.

"Get the ladies out for Valentine's Day, it's a fundraiser for the museum, so it really serves two purposes," said curator of events Sara K. Goetsch. "Fun and raising money for the historical society."

The historical society is holding a mother-child tea time at 1 p.m. Saturday. Organizers say you can call for reservations.
