The 2014 Winter Olympic Games are over and one of our former colleagues is back in Wausau.

David DeGuzman was a Production Associate for NBC at the Olympics in Russia. He arrived back in central Wisconsin late Monday night.

DeGuzman calls working at the Olympics an amazing experience. He says Sochi was beautiful and the people were friendly.

He says he comes home with new friendships and great memories.

"It's such an honor to work with some of the best in the TV broadcast industry, for me to see my name in the closing credits along with so many talented individuals from producers to cameramen and editors, it was such an honor to see my name there and to be part of that whole experience that so many people in America got to see," said DeGuzman.

DeGuzman says he worked a lot, but while in Russia he got to see a some events. He is already looking forward to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil. But for now he says he can't wait to get a haircut and take some time off.
