Police looking for Weston man accused of selling fake stocks

Marathon County authorities are looking for a Weston man accused of selling fake stocks and stealing thousands of dollars.

Andy Vang, 34, is charged with several felonies including identity theft.

According to court documents, a Weston man told police he gave Vang thousands of dollars to invest in stocks. But when he went to cash in his investment, there was no money.

Court documents say the same thing happened to two other people.

Vang could face prison time if convicted.

According to the district attorney, multiple agencies are assisting in the investigation.
