Motorists during the Friday evening commute hours should be prepared for the possibility of some reduced visibilities and snow-covered roads.
Temperatures tonight are expected to be cold, and well below the seasonal average. A low of -2 is forecast in Wausau, with winds becoming northwesterly at 5 to 10 mph.
On Saturday, areas of northern Wisconsin, essentially for points north of Highway 29 should see partly to mostly cloudy conditions. Areas Marathon County and southward are expected to see more clouds and the possibility for some snow showers. Some light accumulation is possible, but the risk is greatest for areas in southern Wisconsin, south of Highway 10.
