Weston man accused in cockfighting ring found, not arrested

Everest Metro police say they believe they know where the Weston man is accused of running a cockfighting ring. But, they can't arrest him.

Bee Her was charged with seven felonies including animal fighting, gambling, and mistreating animals. Captain Clay Schulz said Her is in Minneapolis. But, because of arrest warrant restrictions they can't arrest him outside of Wisconsin.

According to court documents, roosters were seen at Her's home. The animals had clear wounds to show they were involved in a fighting ring.

"We're still working on it. We're still conducting interviews. In fact, we did interviews just last week in this case being that it's a lengthy and well involved investigation," explained Capt. Schulz.

Her also faces gambling charges. Police say an anonymous letter led police to her's video business where they found four gambling machines.
