City of Neillsville residents asked to run water

NEILLSVILLE (WAOW) - The Neillsville Public Works director is asking residents to run water to avoid freeze ups.

Public Works Director Dave Flynn said the city had 4 or 5 freeze ups on Saturday alone. He said most of the problems were lateral freeze ups in the pipes between the water main in street and the home.

Flynn says residents' bills will be adjusted for running a pencil-size stream of water.

He says Neillsville residents should run their water until they are notified to stop.
