Six arrested after man found beaten in Forest Co.

CRANDON (WAOW) – The Forest County Sheriff's Department says six people, including two juveniles, were arrested after a man was found beaten and left in the woods.

The victim was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Marshfield “due to the seriousness of his injuries,” the agency said in a statement Thursday. The man was found Wednesday.

No other details were released.

The sheriff's department said the arrests were made after a search of a Town of Wabeno home on Wednesday.

Investigators are recommending that attempted first-degree homicide charges be filed against Raymond Jones, 45; April Jones, 38; Justin Bey, 21, and Samantha McClellan, 18, the sheriff's department said.
