Marshfield teacher's aide arrested

MARSHFIELD (WAOW) – Marshfield police say a high school teacher's aide was arrested for third-offense drunken driving after hitting another vehicle in a fast food restaurant drive-through lane and fleeing the scene.

The 52-year-old Marshfield woman's vehicle was stopped as it entered the parking lot of Marshfield Senior High after the crash about 11:30 a.m. Friday, the police department said in a statement Monday.

The car was being driven by a 16-year-old girl plus it had another 16-year-old passenger, police said.

Police said the owner of the vehicle, the Marshfield woman, was arrested for drunken driving, having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and providing alcohol to teenagers.

The name of the teacher's aide was not released.
No one was hurt in the crash at the restaurant and neither vehicle was damaged, police said.
