State Patrol ready for more snow

MARATHON CO. (WAOW) - The snow is making roads wet and slick, and Wisconsin State Patrol officers are bracing for this round of winter weather.

They say they're ready for spring to arrive any time now, but they've come to know what to expect living here in north central Wisconsin.

With a full winter's worth of snow behind them, officers say they've become more efficient as the season continues.

"Compared to the first snow storm of the year, we've definitely grown accustomed to knowing where we have more of our incidents occur and stuff like that so we know where to put our people. I think drivers as well have grown accustomed to hopefully slowing down," said Sgt. Bryan Wrycha.

As always, officers are warning drivers to keep a safe following distance from vehicles in front of them.
