With the start of spring just a day away, winter continues to hold its grip on central Wisconsin.
Several inches of snow fell in the Newsline 9 viewing area since Tuesday.
Meteorologist Justin Loew said the weather pattern is very similar to what we saw in 2013.
But is nothing like what we saw two-years ago.
"We had record warmth in March of 2012. Days and days of weather in the 70's and some 80's. We set 11 temperature records for warmth in 13 days. But it was also a rough year for farmers and orchard owners," Loew said.
That year some farmers and apple growers saw their crops impacted because frost in April killed off some blossoming plants.
On the other hand, many people were able to enjoy outdoor activities, such as disc golf.
