Here are the top five high school plays from the week of March 17th - 22nd:
5.) In Thursday's Division 5 semifinal against Heritage Christian, Assumption girls run the break to perfection resulting in a Gena Grundhoffer 3-point play.
4.) With seconds left in the 1st quarter of the Division 3 state championship, Neillsville's Katelyn Crothers beats the buzzer with a runner.
3.) Owen-Withee's Bailey Karaba sinks a three just before the 3rd quarter horn in the Division 5 semifinal against Barneveld.
2.) In Friday's thrilling overtime semifinal win over Brodhead, Neillsville senior standout Jenny Lindner tallied a double-double with a tournament high 33 points while pulling down 11 rebounds. The senior Warrior set a WIAA record for most free throws made in a state tournament game, going 18 for 19 from the charity stripe, including a 10 for 10 performance in overtime.
