Children at Everest Adventure Care for spring break

Posted:
About 40 area children are taking part in the Everest Adventure Care in Marathon County during spring break.

The program is run through the D. C. Everest School District at the Greenheck Fieldhouse.

The program gives children the opportunity to take part in numerous activities and receive nutritious meals.

"We have breakfast, lunch and snacks. Plus, there are different activities daily for the children to take part in. We have them swimming, skating and taking a field trip to go bowling," said camp coordinator Jacque Jakubek.

The week-long session costs $36 daily.

This spring session is full but others are available in the summer.
