Walker: "Kramer should resign"

RIB MOUNTAIN (WAOW) - Governor Scott Walker says representative Bill Kramer should resign if the accusations against him are accurate.

Kramer was charged last week with sexually assaulting an aide in 2011.

"It's really not a Republican or a Democrat issue, it's one where I think there's pretty strong unanimous belief that the time would be right for him to step down and save everyone the hassle," said Walker.

Kramer was removed from his post as Assembly Republican leader in March after two women accused him of inappropriate behavior during a trip to Washington.
