Portage County Crime Stoppers: Vandals

PORTAGE COUNTY (WAOW) - In March and early April, the Townships of Stockton and Plover have been targeted by vandals.

Damage to mailboxes, outdoors decorative lights and decorations and backboards of basketball hoops have been smashed and destroyed causing the owners out substantial amounts of money.

It appears that the destructive activity is occurring on Friday and Saturday nights and on one occasion a small black SUV was witnessed at the scene by a passerby in the area of the damage.

Sergeant Tony Babl from the Portage County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help. If you have any information about this case, or any other crime, you can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a cash reward.

Remember crime doesn't pay but Crime Stoppers does. Call Portage County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-346-6600.
