Flood emergency declared on Wolf River

Posted:
WAUPACA (WAOW) – Waupaca County Emergency Management has declared a flood emergency on the Wolf River downstream from New London because of high water.

The designation imposes a “slow, no wake” zone on the river, slowing boats down until waters recede to a “non-threatening level,” Emergency Director Andrew Carlin said in a statement Thursday.
