Long winter sets back construction of new Dunkin' Donuts locations

The long winter has set back construction on several planned Dunkin' Donuts locations in north-central wisconsin.

Four shops are set to be built in Marshfield, Rib Mountain, Rhinelander, and Weston. Developers had indicated several of them would open early this year.

But Jeremy Alsaker, director of operations for Travel Mart/Dunkin' Donuts, gave Newsline 9 an updated timeline Friday, saying the weather did factor into these new plans.

The Rib Mountain and Weston locations are set to open mid to late summer, Alsaker said. Both still have to be built.

The location in Rhinelander is also scheduled to open in the summer.

The Marshfield Dunkin' Donuts is set to open in the fall, Alsaker told Newsline 9.

A Dunkin' Donuts is already open in Plover.
