ADAMS COUNTY (WAOW) -- After a seven-day trial, an Adams County man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting five children, the Wisconsin attorney general's office announced Thursday.

Joey Hicks, 49 of Grand Marsh, faces up to 290 years in prison at sentencing.

At trial, several victims testified that they were sexually assaulted by Hicks when they were children, according to the attorney general's office.

Prosecutors say the incidents happened in 1989, 1994 and from 2004-2005.

A sentencing date was not immediately set.
