Fans celebrate Star Wars Day

As Obi Wan Kenobi would say, "May the force be with you." But on Sunday Stars Wars fans worldwide said "May the fourth be with you."

The fourth of May is Star Wars day, which celebrates the much-loved intergalactic movie series.

Some fans celebrated the day in Schofield at Johnny Cee Cards.

The store held a Star Wars miniature tournament.

Players battled each other with model X-wings and starfighters.

"It was nice having a day dedicated to something that you love," said Adam Stankowski, the manager of Johnny Cee Cards. "That's what a lot of us care about here is Star Wars and it's good having something that we can just have a whole day set aside to celebrate, play games, and do things that we enjoyed as a child."

Lucasfilm announced the cast for the upcoming Star Wars movie last week.

Carrie Fischer, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford will return to the big screen as Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.
