WAUSAU (WAOW) -
Wisconsin lawmakers met with people from across the area to talk taxes Tuesday.
Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch and the Revenue Secretary led the tax reform roundtable at Northcentral Technical College in Wausau. The discussions are held across the state.
Lt. Gov. Kleefish stopped by Newsline 9 Tuesday. She said the meetings help get feedback from the people of the Badger State about what changes they want to see.
"What we're looking to do is lower the overall tax burden in Wisconsin every year we're in office," said Lt. Gov. Kleefisch. "What we don't know is what that actually looks like to you. So we're asking you. What we'd like is for people to show up to these tax reform roundtables."
