TOWN OF HARRISON (WAOW) -- A grass fire spread out of control and caused major damage to a home.

This happened around 1 p.m. in the Town of Harrison, on the line of Marathon and Shawano Counties.

Crews responded to the grass fire that spread to a shed and a house.

Fire officials say the cause of the fire is unknown.

Several agencies responded including Birnamwood, Antigo, Hewitt, and Easton Fire Departments.

Antigo DNR and Langlade County Rural Fire Control were also on the scene.

"The DNR's just mopping up a couple hot spots on the grass fire end of it," said Chief Randy Berger of Birnamwood Fire Department. "We're just kind of digging through some stuff making sure we don't have any hot spots left in the house and the outer buildings."

Fire officials say no one was hurt.
