Flea market opens in Wausau area

A new flea market in Brokaw opened on Saturday.

Event organizers say thousands of people checked out what the vendors had to offer.

The market manager says it's the biggest in central Wisconsin with 90 vendors.

Items from clothing to vinyl records to art are on sale.

The manager says he hopes the new market will offer fun for the entire family.

"Everybody's finding something," said Mike Vujnovich, the market manager. "A treasure, an antique, something uniquely different. This is really a picker's paradise."

The flea market will run every Saturday and Sunday through October.
